Alice Anderson

Alice Anderson (b. 1976 London) was raised in the South of France and studied at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris and Goldsmiths College in London. She has received the Gilles Dusein Film Award for her work. Selected exhibitions include Yvon Lambert in Paris, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the European House of Photography in Paris, the EMAP Museum in Seoul, the Anna Norlander Museum in Stockholm, and the Bloomberg Space in London. Since 1999, she has been building a kind of novel in which each episode is a self-contained personal, poetic or absurd adventure. Through video and photography, her tales explore images that come from childhood, and can be read as little Freudian fables. "My creative process has been fueled by an introspective reality, often visualized through an excorism of my childhood". She is represented by Yvon Lambert in Paris. Alice Anderson lives and works in London.
